Eritrea: Liquor Factory Workers Express Satisfaction With Incentives

Debarwa, 9 January - Workers in Debarwa Liquor Factory, Debarwa town, expressed satisfaction with financial and material incentives accorded them by the owners in connection with New Year celebrations.

They further indicated that the factory has been offering 2,000 Nakfa in cash and kind to each one of them on annual basis, and said that such motivational element is a springboard to ensuring employee goodwill and labor efficiency.

Among the workers, Ms. Hiwet Tareke and Ms. Weini Gebreyesus lauded the business' incentive system. Mr. Woldai Kaleb, the Factory manager, explained that the business strives to maintain genuine mutual benefit as regards remuneration. He further pointed out that there prevails harmony among the workers vis-à-vis admirable employer-worker relations.

Mr. Fisehaye Worede, head of the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare's branch in Debarwa sub-zone, lauded the effort the factory is exerting to establish favorable image, and called on other businesses to emulate such exemplary initiative.
