Rwanda: Anangwe Leaves Contact FM for Radio10

REMEMBER EUGENE Anangwe, the Contact FM guy who presented the news in English and hosted Crossfire every Sunday afternoon and Club Contact every Friday evening?

Well, if you loved listening to that strong Kenyan accent, I have good and bad news for you. Let's begin with the bad news. He's leaving Contact FM.

The good news is that, Anangwe is still on our airwaves but he's now plying his trade at the Gishushu based Radio10.

'It's true I'm back on air and Radio10 is my new home after days of negotiations. I will be reading the English news on radio and TV once the TV starts' Anangwe told The New Times on telephone yesterday.

His main responsibility at the radio station is to come up with concepts for broadcast and to contribute in the revamping of the English news desk.

Currently, Anangwe is the Excecutive Producer and host of In Sync, an entertainment and informative show meant to tackle youth based issues on Rwanda Television-RTV.
