Nigeria: Two Killed As Gunmen Attack Jang's Village

The village of the Governor of Plateau State, Jonah David Jang was on Wednesday thrown into mourning following an early morning attack by unknown gunmen that left two people dead.

THISDAY gathered that the gunmen, who arrived in a Toyota Hilux van at about 2:00 am, stormed a ranch in Du village of Jos South Local Government Area of the state and shot sporadically in an attempt to gain entry into the ranch and in the process killed two people identified as Gyang Pwajok and Davou Paul.

Eye witnesses said the assailants had caused havoc and left before security agents arrived the scene.
