Angola: Writer Soberano Canhanga Launches Book '10 Encantos'

Luanda — The Angolan journalist and writer Luciano Canhanga, with the pseudonym "Soberano Canhanga", will launch in May his third book entitled "10 Encantos".

Speaking to ANGOP, the author said Wednesday in Luanda that the work is a collection of poems that have been written since 1993 and will be presented as part of the celebrations of Africa Day (May 25) and also his birthday.

The writer stressed that he has been compiling his published poems and new ones for a book with approximately eighty or one hundred pages. The work is being done in Portugal by Manuel Seca Ruivo, who accepted the challenge to compile the poems.

The author stated also that for 2014 he expects to launch another book of tales entitled "The Collector of Fireflies (O Coleccionador de Pirilampos)".
