Luanda — The President's Secretary for Social Affairs, Simao Helena, visited today, Wednesday, Ntetembwa children's center, located in the Seaside neighborhood, municipal headquarters of Cacuaco, to observe the mode of operation and the difficulties that the institution faces.
Speaking to reporters, the official said he had a good impression of the children's center because it presents acceptable hygienic conditions for childcare, as well as the staff that works there that has the vocation and training to care for children.
Simao Helena called for good works of improvement in the infrastructure of the center to improve some details with emphasis on lifting the ceiling height.
The delegation included the deputy governor for political and social area, Jovelina Imperial, the national director of childhood, Ana Afonso, provincial director of service and social action, Augusta dos Santos, and the deputy municipal administrator, Daniel Kubanza.
The Ntetembwa children centre exists for seven years and has a nursery and Community Education Program (CEP) with capacity to accommodate 150 children aged six months to five years.
