Nigeria: For Yakowa and Azazi

On Saturday, December 15, 2012, tragedy struck. The internment of Pa Tamunoobebra Douglas, father of the senior special assistant to the president on research and documentation, Mr.Oronto Douglas, in Bayelsa State on that day brought many people from far and near.

After the burial, Kaduna State governor Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa, former national security adviser Gen. Owoye Andrew Azazi, Yakowa's friend Mallam Dauda Tsoho, Azazi's orderly Warrant Officer Muhammed Kamal, Navy Commander Murtala Mohammed Daba, who was the pilot, as well as co-pilot Navy Lieutenant AdeyemiSowole all died when the helicopter that was conveying them from Okoroba in Bayelsa State to Port Harcourt crashed soon after takeoff.
