Angola: Over 500 Former Combatants Get Food Assistance in Nzeto

Nzeto — Five-hundred forty eight former combatants and motherland veterans in Nzeto district, northern Zaire province, were assisted last December with staple products, by the provincial executive.

According to the head of division of the institution, Jeremias Bilhete, who released the information Wednesday to Angop, said that the distribution of these goods is part of the programme of the Angolan government for former combatants.

The beneficiaries received among others rice, cooking oil, maize flour, spaghetti, soap and canned meat.
