Two suspected poachers have been gunned down by security officers as the operation to flush out poachers intensifies. Eight pieces of elephant tusks, a G3 riffle and 12 rounds of ammunition were recovered during the operation. KWS officers have raised an alarm over increased poaching activities in the country after eleven elephants were killed in Tsavo East national park a few days ago.
