Kenya: Three Militia Arrested in Tana Delta

Tana Delta (file photo): Eleven more people have been killed in revenge attacks in Kibusu village Tana Delta region.

Three suspected militia behind yesterday's attack that killed at least 10 people and left others injured in the Tana Delta have been arrested. The three were arrested at Magarini area with injuries they sustained during the attack as they were fleeing. Coast PPO Aggrey Adoli says police have launched a major disarmament operation following the lapse of an ultimatum for surrendering illegal firearms in the region.
