Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has assured Nigerians of a strong squad to the upcoming 2013 Nations Cup.

Keshi has delayed the naming of his final squad list for the 16-team tournament commencing on January 19 in Johannesburg till the January 9 deadline date and the former Mali and Togo coach believes there will be general acceptance for players that he will be leading to South Africa.

Prove

"We are a top team as far as the Nations Cup is concerned ad we have to prove it by making sure that we go there and do very well. The only way we can do well is to have a strong team and I can assure you that Nigeria's squad will be strong which is what we will be taking to the competition."
