Egypt: National Dialogue Discusses Amendment of Controversial Issues in Constitution

The seventh round of national dialogue opened on Wednesday 9/1/2013 at the Presidential Palace to discuss a number of suggestions submitted by political parties and powers and unions for amending controversial issues of the constitution.
The round, which was held under Counselor Mahmoud Makki, is due to draw up a document of the conclusions to be reached by the participating leaders of the political currents, public figures, and unions. The document will be submitted to President Mohamed Morsi as a request for amending the constitution which will be referred to the coming House of Representatives.
