Liberia: Botswana Education Minister Visits Liberia

The Minister of Education and Skills Development of the People's Republic of Botswana, Dr. Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi has arrived in the country for a five-day visit. Dr. Moitoi and delegation arrived in the Country on Monday, January 7, 2013 as guest of the Minister of Education, Etmonia David Tarpeh.

While in the country, Dr. Moitoi is expected to meet with the President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, as well as various partners in the Liberian educational sector; Government Ministries, Agencies, the Chair and members of the Committees on Education in the House of Representatives and Senate to discuss the student exchange program and scholarship in the areas of science.

Dr. Moitoi will also visit Fendell Campus, KRTTI, Stella Maris Polytechnic, University of Liberia, William V.S. Tubman High School, and D-Twe Memorial High School.

She and her delegation will depart the country on Friday, January 11, 2013.
