Europe based dance group, Trip en masse are in the country to preach peace this election year.
The Dutch award winning group for best Dutch dance production 2011, aims to remind people of the tragic events four years ago, in which approximately 1500 Kenyans lost their lives.
They will use the a powerful contemporary dance show choreographed by the White horse collective about the process of fanaticism, mob violence and hysteria.
The project will see three choreographers/dancers of White horse to Kenya for two weeks in January 2013 to organise a joint-workshop with Kenyan contemporary dancers in Nairobi to adapt and incorporate elements of the Kenya post-election crisis 2008, resulting in a non-political dance show called 'TRIP en mass Kenya'. The workshops will be held at the Sarakasi dome, supported by the Sarakasi Trust, one of the key partners in the project.
