Luanda — The national football team will play with Botswana on Sunday, in Soweto, surroundings of Johannesburg, as part of the preparation for the African Nations Cup (AFCON2013), scheduled to start on January 19, in South Africa.
According to members of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), who are accompanying the Sable Antelopes in South Africa, the game between both teams is expected to start at 7 pm local time.
Besides the game against Botswana, the national team led by the Uruguayan Gustavo Ferrin will play this Thursday, at the University Centre, with the Moroca Swallows of the South African league.
In their first training match in Johannesburg, Angola defeated Zambia 2-0, with goals by Geraldo and Amaro.
In the AFCON2013, The Sable Antelopes will start the competition by facing Morocco on the 19th of January, at Soccer City, Johannesburg, for group A.
