Angola: Nation Ends South Atlantic Peace, Cooperation Zone Mandate

Angola is expected to end its mandate at the South Atlantic Peace Cooperation Zone (ZPCSA) during the organisation's ministerial meeting scheduled for 15 -16 January in Montevideo, Uruguay.

This is expressed in a note released by Foreign Affairs Ministry sent to Angop Thursday.

According to the source, the country ends the presidency of the organisation with a sense of accomplishment duty.

It added that Angola helped fostering cooperation of ideals among the member States, under the creation of this group in which the country plays and will continue playing an exemplary role.

Angola took up the chair of the organisation in 2007 during the 6th ministerial meeting, held from 18 to 19 June in Luanda.
