Angola: Higher Education Minister Informs Students On Training Plan

Luanda — Angolan minister of Higher Education, Adão do Nascimento explained on the implementation and evaluation of the National Staff Training Plan (PNFQ), during a meeting with the chairpersons of the association of public and private universities students.

The minister explained how the plan will be implemented and the benefits to be achieved taking into account the Government's intention on human resources training.

During the meeting the minister mentioned the responsibilities of his sector in this multisectoral plan that involves training staff to a higher level and train teachers and researchers in higher education and national system of science, technology and innovation.

The plan also includes staff training for entrepreneurship and business development, as well as scholarships.

On specific policy measures for 2013-2014, the official spoke of specified offers for development of skills as the National Staff Training Plan suggests different courses in various categories of civil servants.
