Angola: President Sends Message to Chinese Counterpart

Luanda — Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, addressed a message to his Chinese colleague, Hu Jintao, on 30th anniversary of the creation of diplomatic ties between the two countries, on 12 January, Angop has learnt.

In the message, the Head of Angolan Executive expressed his appreciation "for the cooperation and mutually advantageous multiform fruitfully relations developed over the elapsed period."

The President states that relations enable today a strategic partnership based on the principles of respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference in internal affairs."

The message added that the China-Angola relations have known in recent years "a sharp rise to higher levels in different economic, social, cultural, technical-scientific and political sectors.

At the end of the message, the President of Republic stresses the convergences of the view points and the mutual understanding in addressing the international matters, of bilateral issues and interest for the two countries.
