Nigeria: Gov Yero Appoints New SSG, Other Aides

Kaduna State Governor Mukhtar Ramallan Yero has approved the appointment of Alhaji Ishaq Hamza Dan'Mahawayi as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Alhaji Dan'Mahawayi takes over from Alhaji Abdullahi Samaila Yakawada who was the SSG until the demise of the late Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa.

Also appointed is Alhaji Yahaya Aminu Abdullahi as the Chief of Staff (COS), he takes over from Mr. Aboki Galadima while Alhaji Aliyu Samaila takes over the position of the Principal Private Secretary (PPS) from Mr Yohanna Alamagani.

A press release issued to newsmen yesterday by the Commissioner for Information, Saidu Adamu also said, Madami Garba Madami takes over from Edward Pati as the new Special Adviser (Political) while Abdullahi Ahmed Maiyaki takes over from Reuben Buhari as the new Director-General ( Media and publicity).

The release also stated that Mr. Nathaniel K Hayab remains the Head of Service (HOS) and that all the appointments take effect from January 10, 2013.
