Nigeria: Plateau Women Protest Unjust Arrest of Youths By STF

Women in Du village of Jos South LGA of Plateau State, on Thursday came out in their hundreds to protest the unjust arrest of their youths by the Special Task Force (STF) in the state.

The women, who all wore black attire, stormed the major streets of Jos protesting and calling on the security personal to release their youths, who were arrested by men of the force over alleged possession of illegal arms.

On Wednesday the STF had paraded about, nine suspects from the village, who were allegedly arrested with arms after the village was raided by assailants.
