Nigeria: Bauchi Adult Education Institute Gets New Building

Bauchi — The Bauchi State Government has given out the building for the new College of Agriculture to the Adult and Non Formal Education Institute in Kangere in order to help the institute to get conducive place for learning and teaching.

The State Governor, Mallam Isa Yuguda stated this yesterday when he inspected on-going reconstruction of the facilities at the Institute and reiterated the commitment of his administration to the promotion of adult and non-formal education in order to ensure that the target of education for all was achieved in the state.

A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Ishola Michael Adeyemi, announced that the structures formerly meant for the College of Agriculture will now be used by the Institute because according to him the need for the College to move from its present location in Yelwa has been overtaken by recent developments.

He also declared that new structures will be added to the Institute which had never been renovated since it was established many years just as he directed the site engineer to ensure that recreational facilities were provided because according to him after series of academic activities the students need to relax their nerves and recreate.
