Tunisia: General Strike in Ben Guerdane and Violent Clashes Between Protesters and Security Forces

Ben Guerdane — The General strike staged, on Thursday in Ben Guerdane, to the call of Local Labour Union has not calmed the tense atmosphere which has prevailed for five days in the regions reports TAP news agency correspondent in the region.
The clashes started Thursday at the Arab Maghreb Union square when the peaceful march coming from the Independence square turned into violent clashes between the demonstrators and security forces.
