Egypt: Hussein Ibrahim Elected As FJP Secretary General

Hussein Mohamed Ibrahim on Thursday was elected as the secretary general of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party.

Ibrahim who was head of the parliamentary majority at the dissolved People's Assembly won with 39 votes while his rival Helmi al-Gazzar got 21 votes.
