A total of fourteen babies, made up seven males and seven females, were delivered at the Upper East Regional Hospital, Bolgatanga, on Christmas and New Year days respectively. All the seven babies delivered on Christmas day - three males and four females - were delivered normally.
The Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Peter Baffoe, who disclosed this to The Chronicle, said two out of the seven babies delivered on the New Year's day were by caesarian, while the remaining five were through normal delivery.
Dr. Baffoe, who is also the gynecologist/obstetrician at the hospital, said all the babies and their mothers were in good condition.
