Luanda — The chairperson of the Angolan Federation of Tennis (FAT), Matias Castro da Silva, has expressed the team's engagement in standardisation and development of the sport across the country.
FAT president highlighted the engagement at a ceremony of receiving a kit of material of specialty donated by Kilundo Organisations.
The sport official said that the move is intended to strengthen the FAT commitment to the implementation of its programme, aimed at publicising and expanding to other provinces.
"We express our satisfaction with the support that comes to contribute significantly in the effort towards the development of our sports, he said, appealling to sponsors and friends of tennis to follow the same example.
Matias Castro da Silva, a top official of the National Police, ran in one consensus list of the members from the provinces of Luanda, Lunda Norte, Benguela, Namibe, Cabinda, Uige, in the 2012/2016 period.
