Luanda — The State secretary for Water, Luís Filipe, Friday left for the northern Uige province to assess the implementation of the programmes to improve water distribution in the region, Angop has learnt.
The official said that the two-day working visit will enable him to examine the progress of the Water for All programme and learn of other programmes related to the sector for the year 2013.
He will also leave guidance on compliance of a better service to the population during the current year.
According to Luís Filipe, there are 150 projects of water supply to the province of Uíge, specially in rural are, under various projects approved and expected to start operating.
"Similar projects will also benefit residents of the provinces of Zaire, Lunda Norte, Moxico and Kwanza Sul.
