Zambia: Liv Hosts 31 Model Graduates

A BRAND new glitter was last Saturday added to the world of catwalk, beauty and brains when over 30 girls and one guy from Sphiwe Benasho's Pink Diamond Academy graduated in a splendid and glamorous ceremony held at Lusaka's LIV night club.

Although slightly delayed, the content of the graduation event was worth waiting for as it had a lot to write home about. Talk of splendor, glamour and just the beauty of it all, was all in the show that had a high potential of sending one to the edge of the seat with awe.

To emphasise on glamour, the ceremony had in its package a captivating musical performances by one of Zambia's most happening artistes, OC and the full of life diva who is taking Zambia by storm Dezet Roze.

During the two performances, seats were no longer pleasant as the audience preferred to stand on its feet especially when the diva Dezet Roze rocked the stage.

What made this graduation unique is the simple fact that it is the first modeling academy to register its signature in the country with the main aim of not only teaching the international catwalk and runway modeling but also etiquette as event hostesses and television presenting among other things.

Prior to the graduation, Sphiwe has exposed her models to major events like the Ngoma awards and the Dreams reality show Grand finale where they served as professional hostesses.

It is without doubt, Pink Diamond international models academy of Sphiwe is bringing in a new glitter to the world of catwalk; with an initiative of not necessarily wanting to pick 'who does it best', but to edify girls how to do it professionally with an international under-tone to it.

History has been written at all is dependent on where these girls will take their acquired skills from the internationally acclaimed model Spiwe.
