Angola: MPLA Official Calls for Greater Reflection On Party's Participation in Elections

Luanda — The vice president of the ruling MPLA party, Roberto de Almeida Friday in Luanda told the staff and militants to reflect on the participation of the political organisation in 31 August general elections with a view to improving the performance in next electoral challenges.

Roberto de Almeida made the appeal at ceremony of the new year greeting held at the party's headquarters, in representation of the president José Eduardo dos Santos.

Addressing the members of Politburo, central Committee, Luanda Province, Angolan women organisation (OMA) and youth wing (JMPLA), Robero de Almeida called for the need to reflect on some weakness recorded at the election.

According to him, by doping so the party will find solution to improve the history and performance, in order to continue tracking in a way of hope and certainty to all people of Angola.

The official also announced the general plan of tasks and political agenda of MPLA for 2013.
