Angola: Hand Over of Lists of Candidates to UNAP Set for February

Luanda — The secretary of Electoral Commission of National Union of Plastic Artists (UNAP), Fernando Caterça Valentim, announced that the delivery of the lists containing the names of the new members running for the institution is scheduled from 1 to 11 February this year for analysis and approval.

Speaking to Angop, Fernando Valentim asks the candidates to prepare thoroughly their lists, as they will be subjected to a rigorous analysis.

On the 16 March UNAP will hold the General Assembly of Renewal of Mandates.

The outgoing board of directors of UNAP comprises António Bastos Galiano (secretary general), Manuel Antonio de Oliveira "Dudu" (chairman of the General Assembly).

About two hundred artists are on the list of members of UNAP.
