CHILENJE'S Namakau House which used to house Club Vegas on New Year's Eve saw the official opening of Club Nevada at the premises.

The new night club is owned by Anthony Chisola who is also the proprietor of EastPoint Discotheque.

The entertainment house will come alive after it was abandoned by Club Vegas management who were operating at the same premises for a number of years.

Club Nevada like Club Vegas is named after a famous American city. Night life lovers in Chilenje will have a place to go to in the entertainment off pick season as the club will be bringing different artists to add spice to the two-storey club.

"We will not stop having musicians performing at our venue because we believe people should be entertained throughout the year and not only during the festive period," said Chisola.

Chisola said Namakau House underwent renovations which will make it different from the time it was called Club Vegas.

Bruce Simbalangwa a,k.a B1 of the Sikiriti and Perfecto fame was last night expected to be the first artist to perform at the Club.

Chisola, besides being a business executive, has also been promoting local music by engaging different artists to perform at his clubs in Livingstone, Lusaka and Chipata.
