Angola: Justino Fernandes Co-Ordinates Asa Club's Management Commission

Luanda — The former chairman of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), Justino Fernandes, on Saturday was appointed co-ordinator of the management commission of the Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) club, for a period of 120 days, while a decision from the court is being awaited.

This decision came out from an extraordinary assembly held in Luanda, at the request of the club's members, who are worried about the institutional void currently observed in the club in view of the competitive season that is nearing.

The ad hoc commission will have another four members that will be appointed soon.

ASA's board has been suspended by a restraining order from the court following accusations of irregularities in the electoral process that re-elected Manuel Oliveira as chairman of the club.

Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) was founded on 01 April 1952.
