Tunisia Sends Troops to Ben Guerdene

Tunisia on Sunday (January 13th) dispatched troops to Ben Guerdane.

The move follows a week of social protests, AFP reported.

Demonstrators on Saturday asked that soldiers be sent in to keep the peace in the town.

Civil representatives from Ben Guerdane will reportedly head to Tunis on Tuesday to discuss their demands with government officials.
