Nigeria: Dickson Iroegbu in Police Net!

Controversial Film Director, Dickson Iroegbu Whose Gay themed movie, " Law 58" caused a stir last year, was arrested during the week by a team of policemen from the Aguda Police station, Lagos, for allegedly issuing two separate cheques to the President of the Association of Nollywood Core Producers(ANCOP), Comrade Alex Eyengho.

Dickson, we learnt, have been indebted to Comrade Eyengho in the sum of N400,000,00 since January, 2012.

According to Eyegho, "Dickson has been playing hide and seek game with me for over a year now since I loaned him this money to clear his house rent. I do not want to take the law into my hands hence, my decision to report the matter to the police for their intervention.

All I want now, is my money. I'm sure, he knows the implication of issuing dud cheque not once but twice."

Meanwhile, HVP's effort to reach Iroegbu proved abortive as his cell phone was switched off as at press time.
