Egypt: Manpower Minister Urges Egyptians Abroad to Register Their Names for Next Elections

Minister of Manpower and Immigration Khaled el-Azhari urged on Thursday 10/01/2013 Egyptian expatriates to register their names in Egypt's embassies abroad to be able to cast their ballot in coming parliamentary elections.

The Higher Elections Commission decided to allow Egyptians living abroad to register or change their data in the voters' database during the period from January 8 until February 18 or until a decision to call for parliamentary elections is issued -whichever is sooner, the minister said.
