Nigeria: Way Out of Nation's Crises

General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has stated that a complete renunciation of evil and return to Godliness were the much needed recipe for the nation's myriad crises.

The cleric admonished people of the world, particularly, Nigerians not to continue hardening their hearts in the new year but to turn to God for succour after witnessing the great upheavals and multi-dimensional crises in 2012.

He said the evils and atrocities being witnessed by the present generation were for the wonders of God Almighty to be multiplied.

Muoka, who addressed journalists at the international headquarters of his ministry in Ijesha, Lagos, as part of his new year message and 10th anniversary of the church, regretted that in spite of the great expectations and optimism by many that the crises that have enveloped the nation would abate this year, "except the people recognise God as our creator and His son Jesus Christ as our saviour, and repent from our sin, otherwise we and our children will not be saved from the mayhem.
