Tunisia: Necessary Security Measures Adopted Ahead of January, 14, Celebrations, Says Interior Ministry

Tunis — The Interior Ministry said, on Sunday, that all the necessary precautions and measures had been taken so that Monday's celebration of Revolution day might take place in the best conditions.

The Ministry affirmed that it had provided a favourable answer to the requests made all over the country to hold festive, cultural and sporting events on this occasion, urging those who will organise the different events to comply with the routes and schedules agreed.

It also expressed wish that the organisers and participants will see to it that these festivities might represent a moment of glory for the Revolution and of national unity while avoiding anything likely to disturb security and public order.
