Nigeria: Armed Forces Remembrance Day - N7 Million Realised in Sokoto

Sokoto — The 2013 Armed Forces Remembrance Day was yesterday launched in Sokoto State with over state N7 milion realised.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko said the money would be given to the Nigerian Legion of ex-Servicemen, Sokoto State chapter as assistance.

He noted the sacrifices made by the nation's fallen heroes in ensuring unity in the country.
