Gambia: Aja Botto Cham Wins Face of Gunjur Radio Jannehkoto FM Beauty Pageant

Aja Botto Cham has emerged the winner of Face of Gunjur Radio Jannehkoto FM 2013 Beauty Contest held on 5 January 2013, at the town's biggest entertainment centre Gunjur Tarud Pre-School Hall.

Aja Botto was seconded by Saineyba Janneh; Mariama Darboe finished third position, while Serreh K. Janneh occupied fourth position.

Aja Botto Cham received D1, 200 as the winner of the beauty pageant, Saineyba Janneh received D700 as the 2nd place holder.

Mariama Darboe received 400 as 3rd place finisher, while Serreh K. Janneh and other participants each received D200 for their participation during the contest.

The contest attracted people from Gunjur and its satellite areas to catch a glimpse of the weekend's prestigious beauty competition, organised by Gunjur Radio Jannehkoto FM in their quest to raise funds to upgrade the standard of the radio station.
