Kenya: Judiciary Begins Clearing Backlog of Cases

The judiciary will today start clearing a backlog of over six thousand cases pending in The Court of Appeal. This is after the decentralization of the appellate court to three major towns in an effort to clear the huge backlog. The CJ's office has announced that court of appeal judges will sit every day to hear civil applications and appeals.
