Kenya: Woman Enters Makueni Race

A woman aspirant has joined the male dominated Makueni parliamentary race.

Suzanne Kiamba, an international consultant who has worked in South Africa, Somalia and Sudan in community development says she has keenly watched her people wallow in abject poverty due to poor resource management and decided to do something about it.

Speaking at Wote town at the weekend, Kiambas said she will use her expertise to promote food production through horticulture, irrigation agriculture as well as support youth and women in small scale businesses.
