Kenya: Media Urged To Be Fair Ahead of Polls
By Hussein Salesa, 14 January 2013
Journalists have been urged to be sensitive in their reporting and fair in covering elections in order to avert violence during the forth coming general elections.
Speaking to the press at the weekend, Isiolo County Commissioner Wanyama Musiambo said media plays a critical role in the elections and in society at large.
He told them to work closely with government agents and security officers saying this would not only help improve the security situation but also enable them to remain neutral.
