Kenya: Kibaki Revives Road Project

The construction of stalled 26km Kwale-Kinango road will be start soon. President Kibaki's assured the residents during his visit to the county last week.

Kibaki said the government is committed to improving the country's infrastructure. Speaking on the opening of the Sh90 million conference facility at the Kenya School of Government in Matuga, the President said construction works will begin next month.

Kibaki said it was unfortunate the road had delayed and apologised to locals. "I agree the road has taken a long time but please forgive us. The road will begin next month."
