Zambia: Nsanda Declares Sata PF Sole Candidate for 2016

PF campaign manager Willie Nsanda has kick-started the 2016 campaign by declaring President Michael Sata as a sole candidate for general elections.

Nsanda who is Road Development Agency (RDA) chairman said in Kitwe's Wusakile area that President Sata should be back in state house after the 2016 general elections.

He said there is nobody else in the PF who is wiser than President Sata as he is the vision carrier and that everyone should just follow.

The PF has been embroiled in internal wrangles on the successor to President Sata who has not made up his mind on whether to re-contest the election or not because of his poor health.

PF national secretary Wynter Kabimba has been at the centre of creating antagonism with the party hierarchy against possible party presidential aspirants such as defence minister Geoffrey Mwamba and foreign affairs minister Given Lubinda.

Kabimba has managed to marshal support to hound out Lubinda from the party while Mwamba is facing corruption allegations prompted from power play among the top leadership.
