Angola: Former Combatants in Luanda Get Motorbike-Taxis

Luanda — Fourteen motor-bikes were granted on Monday here to 40 war disabled people, under the commemorations of the former combatant national day, being marked on January 15, Angop has learnt.

The provincial director of former combatants, Baptista Correia, said the initiative results from the creation of a mini-co-operative, that comprise three people each one.

Beneficiaries are from the districts of Samba, Rangel, Maianga, Kilamba Kiaxi, Sambizanga and Ingombotas, as well as the Municipalities of Cazenga, Viana and Cacuaco.

The act was witnessed by the State Secretary for Former Combatants, Clemente Canjunca.
