Angola: HIV/Aids Prevention Project Presented

Luanda — A project dubbed Proactive was presented on Monday here by the Population Services International (PSI), meant to prevent, strengthening g and mobilizing the society on the HIV/AIDS risks in Angola, Angop has learnt.

PSI created this project for a better service supply and use of its services in the public sector, such as counselling and testing, family planning and assistance to HIV positive people.

Meanwhile, PSI's representative to Angola, Akko Eleveld, who announced it during a workshop, said the proactive started in 2010, being the main goal to reach September 2013 with debates and field visits.

Target groups are prostitutes, lorry drivers and gays.
