Angola: Education Minister Works in Kwanza Sul

Sumbe — Angolan minister of Education, Mpinda Simão is in Sumbe, coastal Kwanza Sul province, to chair the Consultative Council of the sector from 15 to17 this month.

Under the visiting agenda, Mpinda Simão will hold Monday courtesy meeting with the governor of Kwanza Sul, Eusébio de Brito Teixeira.

The minister's delegation integrates the State Secretaries for for General Education and Social Action, Ana Paula Inês, Technical Education and Vocational Training, Narciso dos Santos Benedito, directors, heads of departments and technicians.

The three-day event will assess the 2012 academic year and prepare the opening of next school year scheduled for next February.
