Gambia: Ebo Town Utd Down Red Diamond

Ebo Town United last Friday defeated Red Diamonds 2-1 in the ongoing Serekunda West Third Division qualifiers' currently underway at the community's playing ground.

The game was deeply contested by both teams, but it was the winner who started the match in spectacular fashion with their extra-ordinary sequence of passes which rewarded them a goal in the 30th minute courtesy of Gibril Sanyang's sensational strike from 21-yards which found the top left corner of the net.

Ebo Town doubled their lead in the 62nd minute, after another glorious finish from Gibril Sanyang, his second of the evening.

Red Diamonds scored their only goal in the 86th minute courtesy of Momar Mbowe's inspirational free header which found the unmarked Amadou Darboe who headed home from close range.
