Forward Alagie Sosseh has finalized a two year deal with AFC United after his release by Sirius.
The defender-cum-striker found himself a new club in the Swedish third tier after the Vasby reject was shown the exit door by former club Sirius three months ago.
United announced the acquisition of the Gambia Scorpions-two times capped player after a brief trial.
According to the club, Sosseh, 26, is drafted in to add to the experience of the side as United targets a promotion spot to the Superetan [second division] come the new season.
Alagie nabbed in ten goals in his first season with Sirius in 2011 but watched his goal form dwindle last year and his injury aggravated the surrounding uncertain over his future the club.
In his premier stint at Sirius, his ten goals contributively propelled the club to the third tier and the rumour mill had it, that the Gambian is a subject of transfer target even with first division clubs.
But Sosseh chose to stay put to see out his remaining one year contract shunning offers from his legion of admirers.
