Gambia: Banyaka, Sifoe Through to KSD Tourney Final

Banyaka and defending champions Sifoe are through to the final in the 2012-2013 Kombo South District Tournament after winning their semi-final games at the weekend.

Banyaka progressed to the final following their 4-2 win over Tujereng in the semi-final tie after a goalless draw in regulation time at the Jambanjelly Football Field on Sunday.

Defending champions Sifoe beat Berending 5-4 on post-match penalty shootout, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time in the other semi-final match played at the Tujereng Football Field on Saturday.

Sifoe opened the score through Modou Secka in the 11th minute of the game from a penalty spot before Alpha Jallow could level it in the70th minute of the game from a penalty spot.

This pushed the game into a penalty shootout which ended 5-4 in favour of Sifoe.
