Egypt: All Potentials to Be Provided for Achieving Security and Stability

Interior Minister Major General Mohamed Ibrahim said on Monday 14/1/2013 the Policemen efforts and sacrifices are highly appreciated by the Egyptian people and the state machinery.

This came during the meeting held by the minister with security directors all over the republic.

Meantime, the minister paid a field visit of Cairo, Giza and Qalyubeya governorates to review the progress of security crackdowns aiming at achieving discipline and facilitating traffic movement.

Ibrahim also inspected troops deployed to secure the Supreme Constitutional Court building in el-Maadi, one day before a ruling on the constitutionality of the law under which the Shura Council was elected and the constituent assembly was formed.

The minister was briefed by police commanders in the site on the plan of securing the building tomorrow.

He asserted respect to peaceful protest and freedom of expression. The minister also checked out security campaigns launched in Cairo and on the Ring Road.
