Egypt pays great attention to the issue of Palestinian and Arab prisoners in Israeli jails, a deputy spokesman of the foreign ministry said on Monday 14/1/2013.
Cairo is also following up the case of prisoners who had been re-detained by Israeli authorities, said Nazieh el-Nagar.
He pointed to Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr's visit to Ramallah on December 29 when he met with the Palestinian minister of prisoners' affairs during the visit.
